This may surprise you, but there are not 7 food groups. There are 3; fats, proteins and carbohydrates. I believe it is this misconception that has lead to what we call the "American Diet". A lack of understanding and disbelief by "traditional medicine" that food matters and can change the status of wellness, leads us to flounder and gives us no choice but to seek information for ourselves.

 
 

I was in the doctor's office today; a woman was chatting with me about her condition. She had never been told her Diabetes and eye condition were connected. She was even arthritic and still, no one had told her that sugar is an inflammatory agent in the body and any inflammation can be improved by eliminating sugar?! Doctors?!!

I'm very relieved to tell all that my arthritis is improving. I put myself on a strict anti-inflammatory diet with several great supplements and really notice a difference. I also discovered that anything with MSG or lots of preservatives inflame my system. Watch our for hidden "fake" stuff - I believe it does cause disease.

I've studied food for over 20 years. We do know how the chemical reaction works in the body. We do know what vitamins and nutrients do for the body. Yet, I have had doctors over time show they know close to nothing. Without "real data" they don't believe any of the thousands of years of emperical data which clearly supports the need for a reteaching of our population. You don't need to be fat, diseased, or ill - food can make the difference when you know what I do.

Over the next few months, I intend to dramatically improve my arthritic condition; already I see a difference. Keep checking back to see my progress; let me know your ideas, or share recipes as I will. I'd love to know what works for you and what you've discovered about how to eat better and feel great.
